DAMAGE AND INSURANCE. We regret that, despite our careful packaging, you received a damaged item. We have taken out insurance. Please send us photos of the damaged items. Please be aware that you may lose the item(s), the postal service may confiscate it, or we may ask you to return it.

MY ITEM ARRIVED DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING Items shipped by mail are insured by the postal service. You must report any damage to us and your local post office. They will provide you with a damage claim form to file your claim. Claims will not be processed by the Dutch postal insurance company or by us without a (verbal) claim form from the receiving postal service. This form is internationally known as a CN24 form. I recommend that you first contact the postal service to inquire about the procedure, so that you don't have to go to the post office unnecessarily. If they say we have to file the claim, we are aware of that. However, if we file a claim, the insurance company will require proof from your country's postal authorities that the item was actually damaged in transit. That proof is form CN24. Please save the box, damaged items, packing materials, and shipping documents for inspection by postal personnel. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us.

The photos we need of the damage:

- the packaging in its entirety with visible address and barcode

- if possible, a detailed photo of the damage to the packaging

- one or more photos of the damaged item in its entirety

- one or more detailed photos of the damage

- one or more photographs clearly showing the inside of the packaging

- a detailed photo of the address with barcode

FOR DAMAGED ITEMS IN THE US: You must first initiate an investigation before filing a claim. You can initiate an investigation by calling the International Inquiry Center.
