Chauncey Burr from 1863 to 1867, dedicated to the "political principles of 1776 and 1787", fiercely opposing the Civil War's direction, and featuring Copperhead/Nativist leaders like Rep. Benjamin Wood (whose portrait is featured in a steel engraved plate in the double issue - Wood was a pro-South New York publisher and congressman).
