One of the great aviator's watches, and a rare find in such clean condition.

As it's such an 'If you know you know' piece, forgive the short listing at least to start. Details on size (about 35mm, 18mm lug width), history and movement are readily available. Please just ask if you have any questions.

The story of this piece: 

- I bought it off an eBay seller about 13 years ago

- As such, I'm afraid I can't say much about exact provenance/polishing/original parts, etc

- Only very occasionally worn

- Has just been serviced by Watch Doctors at a cost of £380 – the movement looks great now – and had a new crystal fitted

Condition:

- General wear/scratches/swirling, but all in keeping with the aesthetic

- There's one particularly noticeable/bright scratch to the side of the case – could perhaps be polished out, but should become less bright over time

- Oxidation/patina to the hands

- Overall, seems to be in far better shape than the other examples on eBay – a watch to be worn, admired and enjoyed
