Historical information:

The Fremont Hotel & Casino is located in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. It is part of the Fremont Street Experience, named after American explorer and politician John C. Frémont. It opened on May 18, 1956, as the tallest building in the state of Nevada. It's still standing but expanded a bit over the years.
