Up for sale from Bath & Body Works is their Winter 3-Wick Candle. Touted as the perfect 3-wick candle, Bath & Body Works uses the highest concentration of fragrance oils, an exclusive blend of soy-based wax and wicks that won’t burn out. Their candles melt consistently and evenly, radiating enough fragrance to fill an entire room.

  • Winter scent is made with orange and fir needle with notes of clove.
  • Measures 4” wide x 3.5” tall and weighs 14.5 ounces
  • Burns for approximately 25 – 45 hours

Personal Note:  There are many scents and aromas that trigger wonderful memories of Christmas time.  The scent of a fresh-cut Christmas tree and gingerbread baking in the oven to name a few.  Another one for me is the scent of pomanders.  A Christmas tradition our family enjoyed was making pomanders to hang on the tree or fill a special bowl along with Christmas greenery.  With the pomanders, the scent of orange and clove would fill the room.  This Winter candle provides that same fragrance.  Even if you can't make pomanders, you can enjoy the memorable fragrance with this candle.

How to Make Orange & Clove Pomanders:
Wash and dry an orange, then poke holes in it using a toothpick or skewer.  Insert whole cloves into the holes, optionally using a rubber band as a guide for straight lines.  A nice option is to tie a thin, festive ribbon on the orange and place the cloves on the sides of the ribbon.  Then let the pomander dry in a paper bag for a few weeks.  

Tips to Safely Enjoy your Candle:

  • Don’t touch your candle while hot
  • Keep an eye on your candle when burning and never burn near anything that can catch on fire
  • Keep your candle clean by trimming the wicks to ¼ inch before you light the candle
  • Keep candle out of the reach of children and pets
