Offered here is a 14 ¾” tall by 3 ¾” wide Pillin vase.  The vase is from the 1960’s.  It is signed W + P  Pillin, recognizing the potter and decorative artist.  The structurally sound pottery was broken and professionally restored.  Production flaws consist of a few small pinholes in the glaze and base issues shown in the last picture.  First is a horizontal grinding mark (removing extra glaze ) the other near the top of the picture is a sizeable stilt pull. The small white spots on the base are dings in the black glaze.  Picture 8 shows a tiny edge glaze ding (1mm) in the 3 o’clock position.  There are small clear glaze dings and a few short superficial scratches.
