Here’s yet another big batch as super cool comics (at least I think so!)! We’ve got another (sorta) mixed bag! How about some various Silver Age DC and Marvel titles! Edit: I decided to add to Sunday’s haul so be sure to check all of our other auctions!

So check the list below (partial, see all of our auctions and check in often) and let’s get started!

We’re going to list 20 or so books (a few from each title) every other night (Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday) for a few weeks! Each issue is from my private collection and I have a LOT of them! And most starting at $.99!

#1 & 2 - just a fun DC comic from the early 90s (I was / am a Dan Jurgens fan)

Artemis: Requiem

#1-6 - each issue is “read once, bagged and boarded”

Astonishing Tales

#5 - DOCTOR DOOM! The current hot character! Some spine wear.

#35 - Early Deathlok! Hope this does well! Wait, I know, I’ll include another copy! 2 for 1!

Atom

#9 - beautiful copy, great cover color and sheen! Just a few minor spine ticks

#11 - another nice copy, just slightly less so than #9

#12 - very nice, some bottom wear but mild

#18 - this one is a little more worn and some back cover moisture but still nice

#22 - this one is darn near close to being a reader copy plus there’s the markdown price someone wrote on the cover. Wait, he wrote his name on it too so we do know who marked the cover. <sob> And a split cover. Double <sob>

#25 - back to a better copy of this title. Standard wear for a 50+ year old book! The DC checkerboard above the trade dress.

We will be listing a LOT of books over the next few days / weeks / months so check back often! We had a store for 7 years in central Pennsylvania and closed the end of 2023. We still had a fairly large inventory at the time of closing and it’s past time to move them along to you! We’ll be featuring individual issues, limited series sets and story arch sets as well!

Please examine the photos carefully and bid accordingly. Any and all flaws will be highlighted as best we can. If we only supply 3 pics that means there are no issues detected.

A word on our Buy it Now price: we estimate the grade of each book as best we can but we are NOT grading experts (in spite of once owning a store. When a customer wanted a vintage book we always agreed on the condition FIRST before settling on a price). We then refer to the CovrPrice guide for their fair market value (FMV), then reduce that price by at least 10%, sometimes more.

Shipping: we ship Ground Advantage in Gemini mailers and, as you might know, we will ship up to 12 books in a mailer (depending on size, pages, etc) to try to keep shipping costs reasonable. We’ll work with you as best we can to combine when possible. Unless you only want & win 1 item, PLEASE wait until all auctions you are interested in to close and we will invoice you with the combined shipping costs. An invoice will be sent for every 12 items you win (we’ll keep track).
