Its 4000 acres including plantations shrubberies deer herds and a magnificent waterfall make it one of the most beautiful estates in Ireland. The Powerscourt film The Family were taken here in the grounds. The ornate gardens close to the front terraces were designed by a Mr. Daniel Hany.
