Vintage Tuareg West African Fulani Straw Leather Sun Hat Handmade.

The only Possible flaw i see is a small pin hole and at the very top, laces may have been cut or intentionally left out? I don’t know if intentional, this has been in the family for a very long time, before my time (46 yrs).

Fulani tribal hat from west Africa. Item is 14 in diameter and 7 inches deep. The hat is perfect for sheltering from the sun. Uniquely designed.

This tribal hat is handwoven in straw and decorated with weathered leather pieces. It features different shades of leather and straw in straw color, black and red leather tones. One-of-a-kind and attractive tribal design. Still has it’s leather strap, two of the black leather woven pieces are not connected. From an estate of world travelers. Condition is “pre-owned”.
