This is a rare find for model railroad enthusiasts! This vintage track was available from 1956 through 2001. Now at least 24 years old! It was manufactured in Germany with a scale of 1:87 with a code 100 rail height. This HO gauge track is perfect for model train enthusiasts who are looking for that vintage Märklin HO look and feel. What is Märklin's "M" Track?:

"M" ("M" track) is used to denote "Metal"; steel outer rails, and a row of metal studs as the 3rd rail are mounted on a painted beige and brown metal base that resembles stone ballast.
"M" track is for 3-rail operation; the 2 outer rails are connected; the 3rd rail is a series of small studs hidden within the sleepers. Many refer to this stud system as "PuKo", for "point contact".
This vintage track was available from 1956 through 2001. Now at least 24 years old! It was manufactured in Germany with a scale of 1:87 with a code 100 rail height.
Available space for model train layout in a European home has always been at a premium; “M” track boasts of especially small circles - fitting within a 3 foot wide table ..... coining the phrase “table top” railroad!
Märklin removed "M" track from its catalog in 2002; making such now hard to find in the best conditions.

A fault of the Marklin "M" track is loose connectors on the 3rd rail; granted after many years of age!
Eckert Engineering has measured/reworked each piece of "M" track to ensure all connectors have less than (<) 0.1 ohms resistance from end to end.
This helps you build a great layout without resistance issues in feeding power to the locomotive!
