10" records were popular in the 1950s before the 12" LP became standard. These 10" discs were often pressed on heavier-gauge vinyl than later issues, producing a warmer, fuller sound with reduced surface noise. Typically manufactured in smaller runs, often featuring jazz, early rock ’n’ roll, or niche labels, they represent a key transitional moment in music history between the 78rpm shellac era and the modern LP. By the mid-1950s, record companies started the shift to thinner 12" pressings to reduce material costs and speed up production, making 10" discs sought after.

Don't forget to look at my other listings, I will be listing unique vinyl each week over the coming months.

Buyer's Info

I describe records as accurately as possible.

There are no returns, and payment is to be made within 3 days of auction close please.
I post worldwide from Australia and am always happy to combine postage. If you are buying multiple pieces, please wait for a combined invoice, I can usually post multiple pieces for the same or a little extra in postage, depending on the items weight. If you want exact postage price please ask before bidding.

International buyers please wait for an invoice and keep in mind before bidding that international postage from Australia is EXPENSIVE, also in addition to crazy postage prices you may have also to pay import duty (eg VAT), depending on where you are. Unfortunately,  I cannot reduce postage but am happy to combine purchases to save some $$.

Sorry US buyers but currently not selling to the US due to postage issues.

I will endeavour to post within two days of receiving cleared payment and discs will be professionally packaged to minimise any chance of damage.

Any other questions please ask, always happy to help if I can and most importantly, thank you for looking.
