This HO gauge locomotive by Fleischmann is 4124 a DR BR 53 / Prussian G4.3 steam locomotive in black livery. It has the running number 53 7752.

The freight train locomotives of the Prussian G 4.3 type were manufactured between 1903 and 1907 by the Union company for the Prussian State Railways . The locomotive, which was developed with the aim of improving the running characteristics of triple-coupled vehicles, was impressive in its driving characteristics, so that the maximum speed could be set at 60 km/h, but was soon overwhelmed by the ever-increasing loads. They were used in mixed service and in express freight train service, mainly in the eastern directorates. A total of only 63 examples were produced, of which 39 locomotives were included in the German Reichsbahn's renumbering plan for state railway locomotives in 1923 as 53 296 and 297, as well as 53 301–337. In 1925, the Reichsbahn had renumbered 28 with the operating numbers 53 301–328. They were used until the end of the 1920s.

As a result of reparations after the First World War, ten engines were transferred to the PKP and were registered there as Th4. Another five locomotives went to the Free City of Danzig .

After the beginning of the Second World War, three locomotives from Danzig entered the Reichsbahn's fleet as 53 7751–7753.

The loco is in very good condition as you can see in the pictures, it is tested and runs with working lights. It comes complete with its box which is slightly shelf worn, a complete external visual inspection has shown the overall condition is very good. A ladder, included in the box, needs refitting.  

Overall this is a really nice scale locomotive and would look fantastic on a layout.
