Wrap yourself in the beauty of nature, with this all-naturally flora-printed silk scarf!

This wonderful scarf was a joy to create. Made in just this past Spring of 2025, I took an old-stock (new in package) silk scarf (from the Jacquard silk dyes company) and utilized the flora of South Florida to create natural, long-lasting prints. I wish I had kept better notes of the various types of flora used, but, as this was my first foray into plant-dyeing, I was somewhat distracted. A special all-natural mordant was used to help keep the colors from fading away, however I do recommend only hand-washing with gentle detergent, or dry cleaning this scarf, for care. As described on the original packaging of this scarf, it is made from 100% Chinese, 8mm silk and features hand-rolled hems (edges). The ground/original color of the scarf is a lovely ivory, with a variety of natural plant hues throughout. Condition is as-seen, and new, without flaws. Please note: the dyeing process involves many hours of steaming, which has set the wrinkles into the silk all over (not the creases running across the center) and most likely this is permanent. I hope you like it! If it sells, I will make more next Spring...
