For sale is a Vintage German made Cuckoo Clock with a 1-day movement.

This clock was purchased new, I believe in the 1950’s. It continued to run flawlessly and ran to the day it was carefully packaged and put into storage in 1987. The clock remained boxed and stored in a temperature-controlled smoke and pet free home until now.

 

I temporarily mounted the clock to run it and took the attached pictures and a video. I found the following in that process:

1-    The clock ran and performed as it should for the several days that I had it hanging temporarily for trial. (I must emphasize the importance to take great care to assure that the clock is mounted securely and perfectly level in both directions to run properly!)

2-    The cuckoo bird comes out and performs one time on the half hour then again on the hour, clearly and crisply sounding. Please see and listen to the video.

 
This clock has NOT been cleaned, oiled or recondition in any way.
