A bit of another mixed bag of books! We’ve got a mostly Silver Age batch of books this time out! FantasticFour! Tales of Suspense! Tales to Astonish! Teen Titans! Strange Adventures (Deadman!)! Early Showcase with Tommy Tomorrow! And a couple of other strays! If you can’t find some of these books that means that the one you’re looking at has been relisted and therefore some / most of the books in the list have already been sold (sorry!)! Also, some of these books were tough to photograph because of shadows / glare / reflection of my ceiling fan!
So check the list below (partial, see all of our auctions and check in often) and let’s get started!
We’re going to list 20 or so books (a few from each title) every other night (Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday) for a few weeks! Most of the issues are from my private collection and I have a LOT of them! Others were from my store inventory! And most starting at $.99!

#106 - this one is rough. We had an FF lot a week or so ago and had I noticed the condition of this book, it would have been part of that group! So check the pics! We’ll start this one at $.25!
#110 - in very nice shape! Agatha Harkness appearance!
Annual #11 - New story (around this time they were reprinting earlier stories!). Invaders appearance! Great shape!

#42 - Tommy Tomorrow! Need we say more!
Spider-man & His Amazing Friends
#1 - 1st Fire-Star! Beautiful condition!
Strange Adventures
#206 - 2nd appearance of Deadman! Great Neal Adams art!
#214 - More Deadman! More Neal Adams at his best!
#216 - Last Deadman in Strange Adventures! The Hook is dead!
Tomahawk
#108 - Pretty well beat up! Missing a story page (ugh probably needed the coupon for Xray specs!) so this one is going to be a free giveaway with the next Tomahawk!
#121 - Neal Adams cover! The condition isn’t too bad for a $.12 book! Issue #108 will be included at absolutely no cost to the winner of issue #121!
“Tales of” Lot! - all books are missing their covers! Poor shape for all! They are ‘readers’ (but wear gloves!)

#49 - 1st X-men crossover! 1st red & gold Iron Man armor (thank you Steve Ditko!)
Tales to Astonish
#57 - Early Spider-man crossover appearance!
#65 - The new Giant-man! Short lived costume change!
#79 - Hulk story is complete, Namor missing 1st (splash) page
#81 - both stories complete, missing cover (as are all)

#50 - 1st Mandarin! Missing back cover! Tough shape!
#61 - Very nice copy! The Mandarin returns!
#71 - Another nice copy!
#89 - Yet another nice copy! New Melter (no, really, that’s the villain’s name!) appearance!
#93 - This one is in less than great shape but better than a ‘reader’ copy
Tales to Astonish
#65 - Very, very nice copy, good cover colors and whites! New Giant-man! Far better shape than the coverless issue above!
Teen Titans
#7 - Excellent shape! Sign of the times as the villain is Mad Mod!
#9 - Again, excellent shape! Iconic checkerboard top of cover above trade dress!
#11 - At first glance this book looks very nice! However, the centerfold is detached and someone tore out a story page!
#12 - A little less than excellent but, again, far better than a ‘reader’. High mid grade
#14 - Another high mid grade
#15 - One more high mid grade
#16 - Beautiful copy! Whites are white! Colors are vivid!
#18 - Cover creases (probably rolled up and put in a back pocket)
Thor, The Mighty
#162 - Galactus! Some spine roll to be sure!
Tomb of Dracula
#41 - ToD is one of the Bronze Age highlights (IMHO)! This copy is in nice shape!
We will be listing a LOT of books over the next few days / weeks / months so check back often! We had a store for 7 years in central Pennsylvania and closed the end of 2023. We still had a fairly large inventory at the time of closing and it’s past time to move them along to you! We’ll be featuring individual issues, limited series sets and story arch sets as well!
Please examine the photos carefully and bid accordingly. Any and all flaws will be highlighted as best we can. If we only supply 3 pics that means there are no issues detected.

A word on our Buy it Now price: we estimate the grade of each book as best we can but we are NOT grading experts (in spite of once owning a store. When a customer wanted a vintage book we always agreed on the condition FIRST before settling on a price). We then refer to the CovrPrice guide for their fair market value (FMV), then reduce that price by at least 10%, sometimes more.
Be sure to check all of our listings!
Shipping: we ship Ground Advantage in Gemini mailers and, as you might know, we will ship up to 12 books in a mailer (depending on size, pages, etc) to try to keep shipping costs reasonable. We’ll work with you as best we can to combine when possible. Unless you only want & win 1 item, PLEASE wait until all auctions you are interested in to close and we will invoice you with the combined shipping costs. An invoice will be sent for every 12 items you win (we’ll keep track).
