Scarce and highly collectible original first printing double-sided concert handbill advertising lgendary T. Rex’s Oct/Nov nationwide tour of Great Britain,in support of Electric Warrior — the group’s second studio album (their sixth if including the group’s earlier incarnation as Tyrannosaurus Rex), produced by Tony Visconti and released on 24th September, 1971. The album marked a turning point in the band’s sound, dispensing with the folk-oriented music of the group’s previous albums and pioneering a flamboyant, pop-friendly take on electric rock and roll known as glam rock. Electric Warrior reached number 1 on the UK charts and became the best selling album of 1971. Presented by John & Tony Smith in association with E. G. Management, the 15-date tour kicked off at the Guildhall in Portsmouth on 19th October and ended at the ABC Cinema in Wigan on 10th November, 1971.

The handbill measures 26.5 x 17.8 cm (approx. 10-1/2 by 7 inches) and is beautifully printed in maroon ink on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
