Original by Albert Rafols Casamada (1923-2009) one of the leading figures of Catalan culture of 20th century
He was a painter, poet and art teacher. His works are in major collections including British Museum, Guggenheim, Pompidou, Joan Miro Foundation and many others
Trained as an architect he has received an artist scholarship and moved to Paris where he was part of thriving Catalan community inc Josep Guinovart and Antoni Tapies. Later Rafols Casamada has formed a well known art and design school EINA based on Bauhaus example.
