The Aquino-Reagan Presidential PROOF Coin Set from 1986 includes gold and silver coins with a denomination of 2500 Piso. These uncirculated coins are from the Republic period of the Philippines and are composed of gold. The set also includes a variety of a Silver 25 Piso coin, adding to its collectible value. This limited-edition coin set is a piece of historical significance featuring both a gold and silver coin with a unique design and certification.

The Quino-Reagan Presidential Coin portrays Philippine President Corazon Aquino and US President Ronald Regan.  The gold coin is the first ever to portray Mrs. Aquino and is also the first ever to honor Mr. Reagan. With the issuance of this gold coin, Mr. Reagan became the fourth US President to appear on a foreign gold coin.

Mrs. Aquino personally presented the gold coin to Mr. Reagan in the Oval Office at their first meeting during her recent visit to the US. 

These coins are certified First day of Minting Proofs struck on December 10, 1986.  Proofs of these coins were minted by the Frankln Mint under the authority of the Phillipines.
