On May 11, 1981 at Madison Square Garden #2 ranked heavyweight, Gerry Cooney, fought #10 ranked heavyweight Ken Norton. Cooney hit Norton with a right hand to the jaw and then a straight right.  The fight was over in 54 seconds!!  The fastest knockout in heavweight boxing history.
