Here is a very pretty and well known pattern by Northwood. It's called Shell and Wild Rose. This was made c. 1905. This item was advertised as a footed Nut Dish in a White Opalescent color. The Opalescence is very good. It is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks, and no mineral deposit or stains. There is a round circle on the exterior at the bottom in the center of the feet and is part of the molded pattern. On every piece in every color in this pattern I've seen over the years, the edges of this circle are always rough and it's because of the mold they were pressed from during their manufacture. It is not considered damage, and it does not detract from the piece. Any white or dark spots shown in the photos are from camera glare. This will make a great novelty accessory to any Victorian home. 66352512
