This vintage postcard from the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum in Singleton, Sussex.
The postcard features a picture of a Charcoal Burner's hut and kiln, built by retired charcoal burners Mr. and Mrs. Langridge of Horsham.
The exhibit at the museum represents the traditional craft of charcoal burning, which continued into the 20th century.
The handwritten message on the left side of the postcard indicates it was sent from "Wealdand Downland".
The postcard also bears a "GUILDFORD" postmark with a date in 1971.
