Pretty George II silver mote spoon, c.1730, with nice quality pierced detail of a more unusual pattern of scrolls rather than the more common scroll and crosslets. A small angled point to the end of the stem handle for clearing out clogged teapot strainers.

Maker's mark and lion passant to the handle are obscured.

It measures 14.2cm (5 9/16") long and 2.3cm (7/8") wide across the bowl.

In excellent condition with no damage or repair.
