This Elizabethan Staffordshire teacup, saucer and display stand is in good used vintage condition. It is the "Majestic" pattern. It is made of fine bone china and hand decorated with a red rose on a black background. 

The cup has a black exterior with a white interior and gold trim on the rim and base. The saucer is also black with gold trim. The pattern is also referred to as "Black Cabbage Rose." The diameter of the cup is 3 3/4".  The saucer diameter is about 5 3/8". The cup is 1 3/4" deep. 

It has a scalloped edge painted in gold around the rim of the cup. The saucer's edge is hand painted gold, but it is not scalloped. The edge is smooth.

There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is a small area of thin gold piping on the cup near where the handle joins that appears to be worn away, probably from use. This is shown in the pictures. There are 3 light scratches in the finish of the saucer. These are hard to see, but I tried to capture them in the last picture.
