Plant 6" apart and 6" deep. 

Cut off spent flower stalks once the petals have fallen, trimming them back to just above a pair of leaves. 

Leave as much stem and as many leaves as possible as they nourish the bulb for next year’s blooms. 

Do not remove or cutback stalks until complete dieback has occurred in the fall, it could weaken the bulb. T
