This is a gorgeous set of hand painted German plates. There are 6 plates that are 8 1/2" across and a larger plate that is 12". All are hand painted with slight variations, which if you look close can see in the pictures. There is an embossed design around the edge. There are no chips or cracks, the only thing to mention is that there are 3 dark specks on the large plate which appear to have been done during the firing of the glaze. Be aware that this is a heavy box.
