The “Yant Phokasap” (Wealth Yantra) — a sacred geometric inscription composed of mystical characters and numerals — is part of the ancient Yatharon Vichaya (occult arts) tradition that has been practiced since antiquity. Its powers are known to bring invulnerability, charm, and great wealth. Across all cultures, sacred scripts and yantras have been created according to each region’s spiritual heritage.

In ancient times, when laying a main pillar (Sao Eak) of a house or erecting a spirit shrine, one of the most frequently inscribed yantras was the “Yant Jatturo” — a square grid of nine cells with the number 5 in the center and the other digits arranged uniquely around it. The design is completed with mystical borders, sacred syllables, and incantations encircling it to summon wealth and prosperity while warding off evil and misfortune, ensuring safety and abundance for the household. It is considered one of the most powerful yantras for auspicious fortune.

Interestingly, the design of this yantra resembles the Chinese Feng Shui Lo Shu Magic Square, a mystical energy diagram said to have originated from markings found on the back of a dragon turtle that emerged from the Yellow River during the reign of Emperor Fuxi. The emperor interpreted the divine markings and thereby received knowledge of the universal energy map, which later became the foundation of the Feng Shui system.

The wonder of this numerical grid lies in its perfect balance: when you add the numbers in any direction—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—the total always equals 15, symbolizing the natural harmony and equilibrium of the universe, which is the core principle of Feng Shui and cosmic energy balance.

Each number and direction represents an elemental force and an aspect of human life:

• 4 (Southeast) – Wealth and prosperity; represents the Wood element.

• 9 (South) – Fame, honor, and recognition; represents the Fire element.

• 2 (Southwest) – Love and relationships; represents the Earth element.

• 3 (East) – Family and growth; represents the Wood element.

• 5 (Center) – Health and vitality; represents the Earth element.

• 7 (West) – Children and creativity; represents the Metal element.

• 8 (Northeast) – Knowledge and wisdom; represents the Earth element.

• 1 (North) – Career and success; represents the Water element.

• 6 (Northwest) – Helpful people, mentors, and patrons; represents the Metal element.

Each number carries its own elemental energy, combining to strengthen stability and attract abundance in life.

The Jatturo Yant, according to ancient scriptures, was traditionally inscribed and buried beneath city pillars, main house pillars, or spirit shrines to bless the land and the people with wealth, fertility, and prosperity.
