Absolutely LOVE this vintage estate sale find!  

This is a gorgeous, well made to last long guard or muff chain designed in the early 1900’s. Classic Victorian elegance, blending utility with intricate design.  It is unmarked by designer but a very popular design in this era. It is approximately 26” end to end - Very good quality thick curb chain

I do believe the gorgeous purple art glass cabochons and rhinestones was added after the fact making it more of a necklace -  However the art glass cabochon is gorgeous, detailed and intricate metalwork leads me to believe this piece was done by hand - it does show some slight wear to the metal and maybe minute imperfections however this is what gives it is unique charm and let’s you know it is an older piece with much history

- I am not sure of the metal used on this one, you can see there is some surface wear primarily to the back that would lay on your necklace or upper chest area, however it is completely non-magnetic; perhaps a nice gold plate

These pieces are highly collectible today, admired for their historical significance, craftsmanship, and versatility in modern styling.
