Short version
The Adafruit NeoPot is a 10 kΩ linear potentiometer (RK09K1130D62 with clear shaft) with an integrated NeoPixel that illuminates the shaft in freely selectable RGB colors. Ideal for easy-to-read, illuminated controls.

• Poti connections: P-, Pot (Wiper), P+; designed up to 20 V
• NeoPixel connections: Vcc, N-In, GND and N-Out for looping through
• Supply: 3V or 5V; It is best to use the same voltage as the logic signal
• Solder bridges: P- can be connected to GND and P+ to Vcc – saving two lines
• Mechanics: clear shaft up to approx. 1mm over PCB; two header strips for stability; four mounting holes
• Scope of delivery: Board pre-assembled with NeoPixel under the pot; Additional header for self-soldering for breadboard use
• A notice: Requires a microcontroller/microcomputer that can drive NeoPixels
