Product Description: Burdette was known for high-quality elaborate instruments.
Background: The company started in Chicago but was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1871. Burdett moved his company to Erie, Pennsylvania, and reopened it as The Burdett Organ Company. Robert Burdett retired in 1885, and the company's operations in Erie ceased. the rights to the Burdett name and piano scales were purchased by the Edna Organ Company of Monroeville, Ohio.
Card Back: Music score to "Hand in Hand" by Karl Reden. And announcement that Burdett had won HIGHEST AWARDS at the 1876 Centennial Exposition for Best Organ.

Grade: 4 (right side of card has been glued, although images can be seen)
