DESCRIPTION
This FHC Preston Series hinge is constructed from Brass material with a Satin Brass finish, suitable for Residential Bath and Commercial Hotel Applications requiring Glass To Glass Mounting. The hinge has a Beveled profile and requires a Cutout Required: Yes. It features a dual degree pivot pin, factory set at 90 degrees, with a secondary field-adjustable setting allowing an additional 5 degrees of closing for positive positioning against a jamb or seal. It is designed for Monolithic Tempered Glass only. For 3/8" glass, the approximate weight is 5 lb; for 1/2" glass, the approximate weight is 6.4 lb. The hinge offers Self-Centering within 15 Degree of Closed Position. Maximum Door Weight capacity is 80 lbs with 2 hinges or 120 lbs with 3 hinges. Maximum Door Width is 28" with 2 hinges or 32" with 3 hinges. Key dimensions include an Overall Height of 3-1/2", Hinge Width Sidelite (Bottom) of 2-9/16", Hinge Width Door Side (Bottom) of 2-3/16", and Hinge Width Sidelite (Top) of 2-3/32".
