Antique Ebonised sewing box with exquisite Mother of Pearl inlay on the top and front, which incorporates a vacant initial plate.

Lifting the lid of this impressive sewing box you’ll see how wonderful the interior is and is full of its original contents. Lined with blue paper and delicate silk it features a removable tray that is fully fitted with sewing tools, including mother of pearl thread reels, mother of pearl thread winders, thimbles, perfume bottle, vintage sewing and darning threads, crystal and gold buttons, ornate scarf pins, silver and turquoise trinkets, painted beads, etc. Lifting this tray out reveals more storage space underneath.

The interior of the box is fully fitted and includes separate compartments for sewing tools and 2  thimbles.

The underside of the main lid has a secured letter/pattern compartment with a small ribbon pull.
