Offered here is monster of a watch from Franck Muller.
This is model Franck Muller Cortez Conquistador 10000 SC in 18K white gold, which measures 40.8 mm across by 54 mm in length and 13.6 mm in thickness.
The watch is very heavy, it weighs as pictured here 184.4 grams!
White guilloche dial with “exploding” Arabic numerals and blued steel hands.
Noteworthy to mention here that the numerals on this dial and a few other Franck Muller models are hand painted. This adds to the collectability of these hand painted dial watches.
Quickset date aperture at 6 o’clock. Curved sapphire crystal.
Big screw in crown.
The heavy case back weighing 23.2 grams is screwed into the case by 4 screws.
The watch is powered by Franck Muller cal. 2800 SC movement which has a segment of the rotor made out of 950 platinum.
That segment is about 8 grams in weight and is made out of platinum for a better winding as you wear this watch.
The leather band measures 26.75 mm at the lugs and tapers to 22 mm at the buckle.
The buckle is the heaviest I have so far come across, weighing 17.5 grams!
This watch will fit an 8 inch wrist at the max.
There are some scuffs on the sides of the case and a couple of small dings as shown in the pictures.
As of Jan. 25th 2026 this watch has close to $18,300 of gold and platinum content alone!! Now add over $1000 for the value of the movement! You are getting a great deal here, an investment.
