Up for grabs is this absolutely authentic and vintage taxi driver's cap. The owner was a client's family member and the best they can recall is it is from the 1950s or 60s. But it looks older to me.  He lived in New York from birth to death.

It is in obviously worn condition with scrapes and scratches. The middle hat frame band is out of shape but still pliable.

The Checker Taxi Company patch is hand sewn and has some curled edges. But otherwise this is in great condition for the age
