• The EF86 is a high gain pentode designed to amplify low-level audio signals. Introduced in the late 1950's, it is used as a preamp in audio equipment and instrument amplifiers.

Tested on AVO 160 With:

Uf: 6 V~

Ua: 250 V

Ug1: - 2 V

Ug2: 150 V

Result: Ia = 15 mA  (3 = 100 %)

               S = 3.5 mA/V (2.3 = 100 %)
