LTR390 is one of the cost-effective ultraviolet sensors, and it is also a very good sensor! It has ambient light and UVA sensing functions, with peak spectral response between 300 and 350 nm. You can use it to measure how much sunlight you can receive before you need to cover it.
Unlike Si1145, this sensor does not provide you with UV index readings. However, Si1145 approximates the UV index based on light levels rather than true UV sensing. In contrast, LTR390 does indeed have a real light sensor in the ultraviolet spectrum. It also has a simpler I2C interface, so you can easily run it on a microcontroller/microcomputer. Unlike other analog sensors, the bias and analog-to-digital converter of this filler are located internally, so you do not need an ADC.
