You can set up your Sky Q remotes to control volume, mute, power and input source on your TV. If you have a speaker system you can set up the remote to control volume and mute on this instead – the power and input source buttons will continue to control the TV.
From the Home screen select Settings, then Setup, followed by Remote controls. Select the remote you’re using and follow the on screen instructions.

To control a different TV or remove a speaker system once your Sky Q remote is set up, connect the new equipment then clear the settings by pressing and holding 7 and 9 until the light on the remote flashes, then repeat the set up process and follow the on screen instructions.

When setting up, the on screen instructions will help you find a 4 digit code for your TV or speaker system that you need to enter into your remote.
