Our air chambers are designed to provide a constant flow of air around the vehicle, this prevents anything from settling on the surfaces of the vehicle inside. All chambers feature a .6mm heavy duty PVC coated tarpaulin base which is 100% waterproof, fuel and fire resistant and allows a vehicle to be stored on it for long periods of time, even on surfaces which may be moist/damp/porous. Normal bases tend to wear after being driven on and off as well as absorbing moisture, these chambers do not. You can perform oil and fuel system changes and easily capture spills without destroying your floor or the base mat itself.

The clear mid-section is made of  allowing you to view your vehicle while offering unrivalled protection, inflated or deflated.

The lightweight nylon top provides shelter and prevents scratching when laid on the car during the inflating and collapsing process. Watch out for Bubbles which do not have a nylon roof.

Heavy duty nylon zip with coated pull and pull string.

The strong double and triple stitching throughout also allows the cover to breath, this allows air to constantly be exchanged, keeping the air flow continuous, this is essential to preventing moisture developing.

Why buy a Car Bubble?

We developed the Car Bubble from experience of using Air Chambers over the last 18 years! We wanted a product that lasted longer and was cheaper to maintain and run. 

Unzip top cover from all 4 sides:
We allow the top cover to be totally detached from the base, enabling safer storage and not having be left as a trip hazard on the floor. Some air chambers only unzip from 3 sides, meaning the top cover has to be left on the floor which can result in picking up dirt and grit.

Replaceable, washable and cost effective filter:
We found that the filters on our other brand air chambers were expensive to replace and deteriorated after a number of years. We have a single filter which does a perfect job and can be replaced and purchased in a sheet form for less than a pint of beer.

Detachable fan/s:
Our fans detach, leaving no risk or denting or scratching your car once removed. Most chambers do not allow the removal of fan units. 

Replaceable fan:
Our fans are easily replaced with no complex surrounds or wiring.

Thicker base: 
We are the only air chamber to feature a .6mm base. This ensures a long life and resistance against tears, rips from stones pushing through. Most use .4mm base material. Ours even feature a zip cover to protect the zip when driving over, another unique feature!

AC Adapter:
We use an AC adapter which features a variable voltage regulator, this enables you to control the fan speed, helping fine tune the balance of air in the Car Bubble, providing the opportunity to reduce volume and costs.

Coated Zip:
The Car Bubble uses a nylon zip which features a coated zip pull to ensure moisture, dirt and age does not jam the zip.  We still recommend using a bar of soap or candle wax grated against the zip for extra protection and smoothness.

FAQ's

Q. If I put my car away wet, what will happen?
A. The Car Bubble is an evaporative system. The constant air cycle will evaporate any moisture. This will prevent rust from the exterior parts while eliminating mould and mildew from the interior.

Q. Should I leave the windows up or down inside the Car Bubble?
A. You should leave the windows either down all the way or at least half the way down. If you have a convertible the top should be put up so that it will not trap moisture in the compartment it is stored in. This will let the air circulate throughout the interior keeping it dry and odour free.

Q. How much room does the Car Bubble take up?
A. Once inflated the Car Bubble takes up an additional 10-20CM each side.

Q. What happens if I get a hole in it?
A. The upper shroud is made of .4 mm PVC. If you do happen to puncture the unit, use a piece of clear 100% PVC tape. This will bond to the upper shroud and will not come off.

Q. What if the power goes out?
A. The cover will deflate and turn into a regular car cover. When the power returns it will re-inflate in a matter of minutes. Make sure the fan is not facing flat otherwise it will struggle to inflate.

Q. If you are bringing in the air from the outside you are also bringing in the humidity from the outside. How does the vehicle stay dry?
A. The Car Bubble does not eliminate humidity it eliminates condensation. The fan exchanges the air by volume 3-4 times an hour. This constant air change and air flow does not allow hot air and cold masses to meet. This in turn eliminates condensation and keeps the vehicle completely dry no matter what the temperature or humidity level.

Q. Can the Car Bubble be used for short-term storage?
A. The Car Bubble can be used for short-term, long-term or anything in between. It takes about the same time to use as a regular car cover except for the inflating of the unit. It takes a few minutes to get the car out.

Q. Do you have to drain the fuel tank or any other fluids before you put the vehicle away?
A. No, the base mat is resistant to gas, diesel, oil or antifreeze. You do not have to worry about these odours because the air is constantly changing.

Q. Do you have to use any dry packs or chemicals to keep the vehicle dry?
A. No, dry packs or chemicals are not needed. This is an evaporative system that uses air flow to prevent condensation. This enables you to take your vehicle in and out anytime you want without having to mess with chemicals or dry packs.

Q. Will the Car Bubble protect my vehicle from pests?
A. Yes, there are no gaps or holes for any type of rodent or bug to enter.

Q. How long will the Car Bubble last?
A. They should last a lifetime if looked after. The fans have a rated run time of 3-5 years depending on conditions and are easily swapped if need be. So far, we have not experienced any failures with personal units being run 24/7 for over 5 years now. (August 2024)

Q. Does the Car Bubble fan have to remain on?
A. If you want the Car Bubble to remain inflated, yes.

Q. Is there a warranty?
A. All Car Bubbles come with a 1 year warranty, this covers the fan and power supply. An extended lifetime year warranty is available by simply sending us a picture of your car inside a Car Bubble or sharing on social media with #CarBubbleUK

Q. Can I use this outdoors?
A. No, this is indoor only, we have an outdoor version sold separately. See other listings or our website.
