2 things: the number pad light doesn’t turn on when you press buttons, not sure if it has to be connected to the other keyboard to work too. Also, no dongle for the mouse. The keyboard doesn’t have a dongle but doesn’t have a spot for it either. I do not have a surface, so unable to be tested, but everything looks excellent!
