DESCRIPTION
This FHC Venice hinge, designed for residential bath or commercial hotel shower door mounting, is an Adjustable Square Wall Mount Hinge with a Full Offset Back Plate. It utilizes Brass material with a Stainless Steel Back Plate. This Wall Mount hinge features Field Adjustability for an additional 5 Degree Close adjustment. The closing mechanism is Self-Centering Within 15 Degree of Closed Position. It supports Glass Thickness ranging from 3/8" to 1/2" (10 to 12mm), requiring Tempered Safety Glass. The hinge supports a Maximum Door Weight of 110 lbs (2 hinges) or 140 lbs (3 hinges), and a Maximum Door Width of 36" (914mm). Key dimensions include, Back Plate Height 3-15/16" (100mm), Back Plate Width 2-1/8" (54mm), Hinge Width 2-5/16" (59mm), and Hinge Height 3-15/16" (100mm). It maintains a Glass Gap of 7/16" (11mm) with a Glass-to-wall Clearance of Standard 1/4" (6mm). Note that a Cutout Required is necessary for installation. Use One Thick Gasket On Each Side for 3/8" glass, or One Thin Gasket On Each Side for 1/2" glass. This unit includes glazing gaskets, wall mounting screws, cross head cover plate screws, and a fabrication template. For maintenance, apply 3-in-1 oil if squeaking occurs; avoid spray lubricants. Clean hardware daily with a soft cloth and mild liquid cleaner to maintain the Brushed Nickel finish.
