A hand hammered pewter Vase by Jean Goardere in the characteristic and mature style of the artist's mature work. The piece is signed as "Jean Goardere" and marked as "Etain Pait Main" and "95%" and "made in France". The hand hammered panelled vase has a bulbous body and a ribbon around the middle of the neck measuring 23 inches tall. The piece has a serpentine flared open top mouth appropriate for tuliperie bouquets. The base in slightly rounded.
