YIANNIS NOMIKOS Hand Painted Erotic Mythology Scene on Duck Egg Art Exekias 1976
Painted duck egg is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The art is vibrant and detailed. There are a few very light/minor scratches/imperfections, but they are minimal. The egg is mounted on a wood stand and cannot be removed from the stand.
This egg depicts three male figures and a horse. The men are dressed in military gear. One is carrying a snake banner and another has an unusual helmet similar to an octopus. The top and bottom of the egg have geometric motifs. The egg is signed "EXEKIAS '76" which is how Yiannis Nomikos often signed his art.
