The FHC Carolina Beveled Wall Mount Hinge is a component designed for shower door applications, utilizing brass material construction with a stainless steel backplate backing for structural support. This hinge features a wall mount configuration and a short back plate type, ensuring secure attachment to the wall surface. The hinge itself has a height of 3-15/16" (100mm) and a hinge width of 2-5/16" (59mm), while the backplate dimensions are 2-3/4" (70mm) in height and 2-3/16" (56mm) in width. It is engineered for use with tempered glass only and is compatible with glass thicknesses ranging from 3/8" to 1/2" (10mm to 12mm); for 3/8" (10mm) Glass, use one thick gasket on each side, and for 1/2" (12mm) glass, use one thin gasket on each side. The door preparation requires a 7/16" (11mm) glass gap. Operationally, the hinge features a self-centering within 15 degrees closed position, utilizing a 90-degree standard closing factory pivot setting. For door sizing, two hinges support up to 110 lbs and 32" (813mm) width, while three hinges can support up to 140 lbs and 36" (914mm) width. The packaging separates the glazing gaskets, which are provided in a plastic bag, not attached to the hinge. The complete set includes the hinge, glazing gaskets, wall mounting screws, hex head screws, cross head cover plate screws, and a fabrication template. The overall aesthetic is defined by the Polished Chrome finish.
