Fillmore East program for the Jefferson Airplane, Joe Cocker & the Grease
Band and Spontaneous Sound to appear onAugust 8th and 9th 1969.

This particular Fillmore East program is known as the "Woodstock 
Program", as it served as a tune up for the Airplane and Joe for 
appearances the festival.

This 28 page concert program measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and is like a 60's
time capsule featuring many interesting period advertisements in it, 
besides the two page Woodstock spread including an ad for the Atlantic
City Pop Festival on August 1st, 2nd and 3rd that had a lot of the artists
that played at Woodstock including: Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead,
Crosby, Stills & Nash (and Young, Neil wasn't listed in the ad), Creedence
Clearwater Revival, Canned Heat, Johnny Winter, Paul Butterfield Blues 
Band, Joe Cocker (& the Grease Band) and many more.

This program has very minimal wear to it and really is in Immaculate condition,
just about impossible to find an original Fillmore East program from 1969 in
this condition that's not a reprint.

This program was handed out at the Fillmore East in New York City when entering 
the theatre on the night of the concert.It's important that as a collector, you know 
you're getting an authentic item.

PS I spent many memorable nights at the Fillmore East. It was a very special theatre,
where I was fortunate enough to witness some of the most incredible concerts that I 
have ever seen in my life,to those that went there….You know what I am talking about :) 
I will never forget that magical time,a time (especially in music) that we will never see 
the likes of again.
