Antique Catholic French Relic Reliquary Brass Pendant, *Appears to be Missing Cover Piece*


This incredible antique Catholic relic reliquary pendant, which does appear to be missing its cover piece, would make a fantastic addition to any devotional collection! Listed within the pendant are Ste Vierge, or the Holy Virgin; St Joseph, Ep.; Grotte de Geth, which translates to Geth's Cave or Gethsemane, and St. Jean Baptiste, or John the Baptist. This appears to be a French reliquary pendant due to the spelling, and the back brass cover features a coat of arms that might possibly represent Saint Joan of Arc (an online search showed a similar antique locket piece for Joan of Arc with a coat of arms that matched this one). This is an antique piece, and it does appear that this may have been a locket style pendant and is now missing the original cover piece; please see last photo above, where a break in the metal at the base of the bail is apparent. Sold AS-IS. The back metal piece tested as a brass alloy.

Economy shipping service generally arrives within 4-9 business days. Economy orders are shipped within one business day, local weather permitting. Economy orders are shipped using the most cost-effective shipping method, including USPS First Class mail USPS Parcel Selec, and USPS Media Mail. On rare occasions, such as during severe national weather interruptions, USPS shipping services may be delayed and take longer than usual, as long as 14 business days from the order date.

Expedited shipping generally arrives in 2-4 business days. Expedited orders are packaged and shipped first and usually receive same-day shipping when placed before 12:30 pm PST or (3:30 pm EST) will ship the same day. Expedited orders placed after this time will likely ship the next business day.

Offers

Our organization requires that an item be listed for at least 30 days before we consider accepting customer offers to reduce the purchase price. If you wish to make an offer on a favored item, "watch" that item as we occasionally send reduced-price offers and coupons.
