Up for sale is a very vintage peg board game of checkers. I believe it was designed for travel as the board is cemented to the box and the use of pegs instead of flat checkers prevent unwanted movement on the board. The cover to the box has faded printing: "Complete Pocket Checker Set."  I THINK under that is "The Embossed Company, ???, N.Y. (Question marks represent a name of a city I think). There is an insignia of some type in the bottom right corner of the cover. The lower left corner says No. 2??2. (sorry I can't read what is between the first and last 2). There are 13 Red pegs and 12 Black pegs, Each player uses 12 to play the game. There are no instructions but if you have never played checkers (hard to believe) instructions can be found on the internet. Please see photos.

Condition Issues: The peg board has red spatters instead of solid red squares (probably from wear). 13 Red pegs, 12 Black pegs. Original box is showing heavy wear. Please see photos.
