A mature, beautiful and robustly healthy jade plant (Crassula ovata). This very large indoor specimen has been carefully pruned over many years to resemble a ‘formal upright’ (Chokkan) bonsai-style. Consisting of two substantial 22-23cm/9in & one 9cm/3.6in circumference stems. Presented in a 32cm/12.6in (diameter) x 15cm/6in (high) thick-walled ‘Yorkshire Terracotta’ bowl with decorative grey shingle top dressing. Crassula ovata is a bushy evergreen indoor succulent with dark fleshy evergreen leaves, often edged with yellow/red, that develops a woody-textured trunk. Inconspicuous clusters of small & delicately perfumed starry white flowers emerge in autumn. A low-maintenance house plant that thrives on only occasional watering & minimal horticultural expertise. Please note that this is a very large specimen. 65cm/25.5in (wide) x 68cm 27in (high), 185cm/73in (widest circumference). Photograph 7 includes a standard 330ml soda can* to demonstrate this plant’s impressive architectural dimensions. Ideally suited as a centre-piece for a home conservatory or as a decorative addition to a well-illuminated business reception foyer/atrium area. Collection in-person only by prior arrangement from OX26, conveniently located close to J9 M40 (in the vicinity of Bicester Village). This is a heavy plant! Enquiries before purchase welcome. From a pet-free, non-smoking environment. * not included in sale. I have additional similarly sized Crassula ovata plants listed for sale, plus a number of smaller specimens (established cuttings from large parents) for those with the enthusiasm & patience to nurture their own giants!
