This unique and fantastic work of mother natures: Wasps , mud dobbers or hornets was discovered while at a local lumber yard. The 5 1/2 by 3 1/2 natural OAK had been sitting according to employes, in a not sellable area for years. As hard as the red oak is it seems amazing the time over years that it took for them to tunnel as many holes and angles discovered in the wood. This display, since it was formed by nature has not been stained or varnished ( with the exception of the small center piece}. There are many similarly designed displays for floatable wall hangings. However: This rendering is brought forward in a fashion which lets us look and respect the natural art form and should draw attention by any visitors that come upon this display in your home.
