What is a Pointed Back Chaton: Pointed Back Chatons are loose crystals with a pointed reverse side (like a diamond) and a platinum foiling on the back for extra brilliance and protection. This type of crystal can be glued into many different types of surfaces. These loose crystals are excellent for repairs of jewelry and for making new jewelry.

Gluing: Crystals can be glued onto a wide arrange of materials, from metal, glass, leather, fabric, plastic and more.  This may be done with E-6000 (the most popular), Gem-tac, Aleene’s Leather Glue, Jewel Bond, Jewel Bond Fabric glue or 2-part epoxies.  We have several glues in small sample sizes. Do not use any form of Super Glue or any cryoacetates, this will cloud the crystals.
