This is a Good Ex Library Copy of this Book in Publisher's red cloth with bright gilt title lettering to spine,in a Very Good Dust-Jacket,with a little light rubbing along the outer edges of the dust-jacket.There is no fading to the red title lettering on spine which remains nice and bright.Not price clipped with price of £10.95 to the front flap.The book has new endpapers and there is one small library stamp to the half title page and a further stamp to the copyright page plus another small stamp to the final page of text and small code mark of LR 7 to the top edge of the rear pastedown.There is one further Unsworth library stamp to the bottom edge of page 81 set within the margin.Page edges tanned as is so often the case with this title.This is Ian Rankin's first John Rebus novel and his second novel,and is now one of the of the most elusive and sought after titles in modern crime fiction.Originally the print run was a low one,8vo 169pp First Edition 1st Impression [1987]
