Can you use this? 

You are looking at a used  ROGERS Swivo-Matic 395-R bass drum pedal, 

complete and working fine, except for the missing rubber feet. 

Most likely this is from the late 1960s judging by a few of the parts. 

According to the Rob Cook Rogers Book Second Edition on page 141, 

this pedal was made 1960 to 1983. 

Buddy Rich used this exact model pedal. 

The Rogers Book says 

Bellson, Cole, Chapin, Perry, Cottler, Burnes and Krell and many others used it. 

The original wooden Rogers beater is the hard find wood one. 

It includes the correct hoop clamp.

I myself have gone through this pedal, 

I cleaned almost every part, with no steel wool or abrasives, 

and have it up and running to my satisfaction. 

 This pedal is in good used condition. 

As with all used vintage items, it does show signs of wear, 

with some scratches and scuff marks and wear on the footboard. 

The two hinge parts in the heel are present and original. 

The Allen key bolt is also present in the heel. 

It has the often missing toe stop. 

The original spring is still on it. 

The swivo-matic connecting rod to the pedal base frame is also present, 

with some rust spots. 

The rubber feet under the heel are missing. Someone sells these on eBay.  

The round head machine bolt and washer to connect it to the pedal strap is also present. 

If you need this one, don’t miss out.
